These sticks are very nice. I’m returning to snare drumming after a 50+ year hiatus. I’m trying to get back into shape to prepare for my college’s alumni band homecoming. These are lighter in weight, and turned hickory. I’ve acquired the SD1, 5A, 7A, 2B and the monstrous CorpsMaster from Vic Firth. So, I’ve got five weights to tinker around with. Oh, and these sticks pass the old “roll test” for straightness.
