My practice board is quite worn now and these points grip no problem. Being a slightly longer point than standard they do alter the darts trajectory albeit minimal. After a few rounds of the board you soon adjust. These points definitely allow closer grouping and are indeed better than standard length points. Just remember when ordering take into consideration 6/7mms insertion into the barrel on top of the length you require.
