The bases do have some minor dents from use, which is to be expected with age and use ( Very minor dents please checkout the photos ) The sconces are removable and fit perfectly without being loose or to tight, they are both in excellent condition ,with both sconces being fully hallmarked and easily readable. The velvet material to the underneath of the bases are both in excellent condition, The English solid sterling silver Hallmarks on the base are fully matching and are an original pair, they are slightly rubbed by many years of polishing , however still readable; No engraving of any kind , no monograms or the removal of any such engravings. These candlesticks are ready to be used or added to your collection as they are both splendid clean examples from a great maker. William Hutton & Sons Ltd ,”
