The Italians wanted the missionaries out, and the nationals - imprisoning Hal - believed he was a spy for the Italians. Mabel Street's Five-Year Diary of daily life in Ethiopia records the family's daily experiences. Her daily entries, which are the basis for this book, express her trust in God and her love for her husband, her kiddies, and the lost. Harold Street Jr. offers their story as an encouragement to those answering God's call to a life of missions.
