This was packaged very well. Stein was stuffed with plastic bags on the inside. It was put into bubble pack envelop....magneta. Stein arrived perfect. The etching looks better with a pale straw background. The glass itself is more thin than others I have used. This was another good feature. Leverage for lid is very easy / loose. I'm pleased to have decided on this Stein.
