Definitely NOT like new- case is so tatty and scratched that you can hardly see through it. The disc is also scratched - the disc plays thankfully despite the damage. Could not even describe this item as in good condition.

I did say it has minimal wear but definitely not scratches to the extent you described. The only explanation I can give is that it must've been damaged during transport. I provided HD pictures of both the case and CD and they look pristine in my opinion.
