- e***t (2665)- Feedback left by buyer.Past monthVerified purchaseAn ambitious tour that did not run according to plan. Started from Newport at 0519 behind locomotive 67006 via the GWR main line to Foxhall Jn. Then via Oxford, after which 67006 failed at Fenny Compton. With replacement locomotive 67024 restarted the tour 136" late via GWR ML to Small Heath, former MR ML via Derby, Barrow Hill, and the special was premature =ly terminated at York reached 94" late (Durham & Newcastle cancelled. Return same route uneventful with 67024 reach Newport 5" early 2344.
