When worn it looks like ripples around the base outside the hat are present. To any potential hat buyer be sure to look at the inside of the hat around the sweat line more closely. If the elastic isn’t taunt and appears wrinkled and dirty know it will not repair itself through ironing or washing, it’s stretched out. Purchase was seamless.
