You'll also need to install a power plant and hook everyone up with electricity. As the game progresses a month at a time at a speed set by you, you can watch buiildings sprout as your city grows and thrives. You'll get to set a yearly budget and decide how much to tax your citizens and how much to spend on the transportation, police and fire departments.<br><br>Later, you'll get the chance to build an airport, create ship docks, and even attract a professional sports team with a franchise. Plenty of maps, graphs and reports will keep you up-to-date on the status of your city, including the always important approval rating of your people. It takes a careful mix of crucial decisions to work your way up to a metropolis, but even once you're there you'll still need to worry about disasters such as plane crashes, floods, fires, and even a certain green monster who likes to eat trains for lunch.
