Coating is silver paint that comes off with brake cleaner. Got sent the wrong front pads but it was somehow mine or my cars fault, it’s a shame it was a simple supply mistake and could have been easily resolved. The bloke I was dealing with is the most vague parts guy ever, I don’t even think he understood in the end after I pointed out the part number difference. I had to buy pads from another supplier. I will be avoiding this seller in the future.
