Sunburst finish over an Alder body with a Maple neck & fretboard. Equipped with a 2 band EQ, the much sought after black epoxy pre amp and through body stringing.There is very little finish wear. The neck is straight and plays smoothly. Other than a professional re-fret this bass is all original and complete including a very rare Music Man tweed case. The serial number is:B008160. The body date is Oct 20th 1978, the neck Nov 10th 1978. Two visible pot dates read 15th and 39th week of 77 , the third pot date is unreadable as its covered in solder. The truss rod is fully working with plenty of room to move. The action is set nice and low. Nut Width: 42.5 mm. 1.675"This is an all round excellent bass, the sound is warm and punchy. It's been fully set up with a fresh set of strings and has a great action allowing for superb playability up and down the neck.”
