Cast out of the Shaolin temple after being defeated by a martial arts master known as Ippon-ashi (One-legged), an elderly woman known as the "Shaolin Grandma" attempts to regain her fighting spirit while performing on the streets to survive. Her identity stripped away after losing that fateful fight, Miyoko wanders the city in shame, all the while wondering if she will ever be able to return to the remote temple in the mountains.
