engine guard is molded from polyethylene PE not great material - it might bounce some gravel away but definitely won’t take anything bigger/continuous hits as the material is just not strong enough, it’s flexible enough, just not strong for a car & no absorption pads like OEM part so any big bang it takes would go straight through. Wasn’t expecting a metal or carbon plate for the money but PE is just the wrong material. I suggest rethinking this product & go with PPCO copolymer
