Seller notes: “Generally excellent vintage Folio Society edition with illustrations by Paul Cox (See photos) that ... “Generally excellent vintage Folio Society edition with illustrations by Paul Cox (See photos) that has suffered a minor injury. Black ink stain to the second front endpaper, see photos. Apart from that, the book is superb with clean tight binding. All hinges are secure. The illustrated boards are fine with no shelfwear; as new. The page block is clean and bright with no marks or inscriptions. The top of the text block is red and has retained its colour. The slipcase is also very good. No bumps, rubs or scuffs. Strong colour and only very light shelfwear. All of our books are vintage and antiquarian as such, they will show signs of age and sometimes use. Any defects will be flagged up. Please make sure you know exactly what you are buying and contact us if you have any queries.”
