I have had nothing but bad luck with my Vendetta mount. Purchased this new metal mount and while it was a pain to get it mounted due to the tight tolerances (had to use a wedge to open up mount) it is solid as a rock and I could not be happier. The old mount was plastic and constantly moved, cost me a bear. While it may take an hour or two depending on your mechanical aptitude the finished product is awesome. Highly recommend the mount - the seller is okay too with great communication.
