useless as a Mauser sling. I have a VZ24 1939 make, 1943 German refurbish. Way to small for the job. The one I got is between 3/4'' to 13/16''. You need a sling 1-1/4'' to 1-3/8'' really work good. The sling swivels are 1-1/2''. This sling is like a hot dog down a hallway. Also the leather is garbage. Like a cheap hand bag bad. Will not hold up to a 9LB gun. Will have to try to find something better. Right now I put a 1907 sling on it. works great but, does not quite look right on it.
