Basically, these air purifiers have been around for decades. Vollara, EcoQuest, and Alpine before that. They are an excellent company. Their purifiers destroy odors at the molecular level. I don't know how it works. It basically produces the same clean smell you experience after a thunderstorm. It is excellent at removing odors such as smoke, bathroom, & cat litter.
