The rim brake tracks are brushed but it seemed like the tool paused and removed more material where the joint is pinned. So there's a dip i.e. less material at the joint so I expect the brakes to pulse every time the pad goes over the joint. Defeats the point of brushing the sidewalls if there's going to be an imperfection at the joint anyways.
