In my opinion, this item was/is not fully compatible with my 2006 Pontiac Vibe. Since, one of my OEM flare nuts would not thread into the item, unless I sanded down the end of my flare nut. I think the incompatibility was due to (a) the OEM flare nuts, for hose fittings, have ends that are unthreaded and tapered and (b) one of my flare nuts had the maximum allowed O.D.
