This 593nm Laser module is an amazing piece of enigneering. A laser with yellow collor is very rare and usually requires two nonlienar optical processes. It produces a very bright spot. In 4.5m distance the Diameter of the laser is about 14.5mm. Interference experiments show a coherence length of more than 5 mm and a good frequency stabilization. It must be noted that the laser does not emit cw. It is operated with PWM in the kHz range.
