I specifically hunted for a heavy-gauge plastic, but still after carefully putting my matress in and neatly cellotaping it closed, a long tear appeared down the middle when we began to move it. No idea how that happened! But it did. So I taped that up too and hopefully it will hold together for however long it's stored for, and so long as we don't need to move it for a while. Disappointing.
