It came recommended by a Healthcare worker and it works for what I needed it to do. My wife has very cold hands and all the numerous pulse oximeters I've purchased would not register. While in the hospital a nurse took the measurement and it picked up immediately. I asked him what brand it was and he told me Nonin and sung it's praises other than the price which doesn't bother me as long as it works. As long as it stands the test of time I will consider it money we spent.
