The pipe is not bent correctly to fit the diesel heater. I hesitated to bend it in case I kinked it. I threw it in the bin and ordered another.
However, a few hours later I decided to have a proper go at bending it into shape and risk kinking it and eventually got it to fit. It was tight and has distorted the rubber seal a bit. Also it forces the screw holes out of alignment and getting the last one in was hard.
I don't recommend unless you prepared to bend pipe and cross thread screws.
