This excellent eBay seller promptly mailed this photo on a postcard of the Prior Castell's Astronomical Clock that is inside Durham Cathedral. There have been some renovations, but it does date back to being built in 1494-1519. I am so very pleased you were willing to make this photo available. Additionally, on the left side is one of the massive support columns for this Norman (Romanesque) architectural type of cathedral. Each set of columns has their own unique design. This excellent eBay seller promptly mailed this photo on a postcard of the detailed paintings on the outside of this Dornach House in Old Lucerne, Switzerland. I am so very grateful you made this photo available that represents a decorative style that I saw in some of the German speaking parts of Switzerland & later in Bavaria. I am sure there is a story behind the artwork, but it was the designs I was enjoying. The first place I saw this was in the town of Schwyz (just before I got to Lucerne).
