For the first edition Silhouette, it looks brand new and completely meets my needs. I cut on card stock and on thin leather and it worked perfectly! I bought additional blades and they worked on this Silhouette Portrait 1. It was worth the price to get an idea of different ways to use the machine and the pros and cons before investing on a more $$ model.
