The ... “A rear lens adaptor for the Meyer Optic 300mm f4 and 500mm f5.6 lens with a M42 rear mount. The above two lenses were designed for the Pentacon Six mount, but can be mounted to 35mm SLR cameras (and DSLR cameras with a further adaptor) with this mount. Please note that your lens MUST have the screw on retaining ring to clamp this item to the lens (perhaps you have a lens with the Exakta mount and want to change it for M42 which makes is more adaptable to other makes of camera). If your lens does not have the retaining ring, you cannot use this adaptor.”
