My 1971 Distributor was an original. The new part has unknown different screw threads, replacement screws were omitted by the supplier from my delivery. My original base plate fouls the inside of the new casting. the O washer above the top bearing was a press fit, the new casing has a ledge so the washer does not seat securely and needs to be D shaped.
