photo shows a back piece when arrived its got no back piece it also states its a mount but has no way of mounting to anything

There's no back piece you're just seeing the white card it's photographed on. The cards lay loose in the apertures then the mount needs to be sandwiched between two sheets of glass in a frame so the rear of each card can still be seen, exactly as described in the item description.
