The first time I ever used this product and it was easy breezy, perfect for the edge for my table in my vintage 1968 Utopia camper. I used the heat gun on high back and forth 6" sections at a distance of 3" from the product. I did not find instructions with t but it said you can use an iron as well, I do not know what dry setting would be recommended so do a test area first. Do not over-heat the area or it will curl. I went side to side about 8-10 seconds blowing towards the direction. Happy
