The watch looks very cool! Exactly as I had hoped. I've never used a watch with a deployment clasp before, so that is taking some getting used to. The band color is more "cordovan" than an actual purple, but the photos capture it well. The fly wheel is very satisfying to look at, there's a very pleasing ticking sound, and it's wonderful that I don't have to remember to wind it! So far it's keeping good time. It was worth the extra postage to receive it sooner.
