It arrived in a shampoo box and with bubble wrap completely around it. Inside the cooker it was as expected. However on the outside because of the shipping with USPS one of the legs broke off. I am going to test it out today. However it is unfortunate that a part of the outer shell was damaged in transit. Probably not the sellers fault because I found all the pieces.
