Works well but the teeth are roughly machined which catches on the leather. I spend more time trying to safely pry the leather from the prongs. It is quite small, so you do not have much leverage to punch 2mm upwards leather. I intended to use this for bag straps so at least 2.5 mm thickness. I will see if grinding and polishing the prongs will help.
