Very helpful in small flat with tall ceilings where space is at a premium. Not as easy to get various sections aligned in the right place for the overall effective working of the seat hinges and leg supports. That aside, sturdy, useful and safely carried more weight as a step ladder than I care to record while I rehung curtains/changes lightbulbs and is now an effective chair. Instructions clear and all parts in box.
