Before I bought this item I've contacted the seller about the oem of this item, he told me that it was 100% genuine original, after I've got it even tho the model number appears in apple web site the quality was poor in all meaning, sound bad, connection bad, everything bad, so be aware of the type of this items because this piece is easy to get it fake eventho it has a model number thats accurrate. Earpods are easy to get it fake like this one. It came new but poor quality, not an apple at all.
