Item originally hadn't been delivered as had been incorrectly email notified.
After text dialogue with vendor, the latter resent the item, and after a little further delay over the New Year festivities, it finally arrived.
The watch itself was found to be in almost pristine condition given its near 45 year age: I'd ordered it for sentimental reasons since my late parents had bought me just such a watch in 1979 when an LCD digital display had been both new and relatively expensive (over £80).
