Made for the first Nintendo Entertainment System, this classic video game gained cult status with its open fantastical world of Hyrule, the kingdom that Princess Zelda is in charge of and that Link must save. Players must complete nine dungeon mazes to win the game, each dungeon filled with evil creatures and beasts sent from the main villain, Ganon. Link, the hero, can equip weapons he finds and enough game play can unlock upgrades to his weaponry.
