The item was described as new but you can tell it has been used a little. Item was opened when I unboxed it and the rocks that came with it was everywhere. It had water ring on the rose colored fountains. It's described as quiet, but it really isn't. The motor in it is kind of loud while running. Not sure that's a seller issue however.
