Back in 2004, Volkswagen decided to shoe horn their acclaimed 130bhp PD diesel and six speed gearbox into a tiny lightweight Polo, for a very limited production run of around 500 cars. They uprated the brakes, suspension and tyres to accommodate the extra power, fitted a sporty interior, and this car was the result. It will return 55mpg on a run, and laugh in the face of other hot hatches, yet is small, practical, and easy to park in town.This Polo has just had two owners in its life. The first owner purchased the car new from Mann Egerton Volkswagen in May 2005. She kept the car until May 2008, and took it back to VW for regular servicing for the first few years of its life, at which point the car had covered a little over 10,000 miles.The car was then purchased by the current lady owner and has remained in the same ownership for the 10 years since. It has been regularly serviced every 10,000 miles, and has now covered 113k miles.”
