Real glass, not plastic lens, so the image is really sharp while also increasing the weight of the magnifier. Shipped in a bubble mailer, one of the circular frames was dented from impact but I easily corrected this as all the circular lens holders and handles are metal, not plastic. Silver plated finish is good and the handles are about the same diameter as a #2 wood pencil. This is a good seller and I will buy from them again. 10/10
