The spacer is made in 2-pieces, so you can put it on a vehicle or remove the center and install it on a TRAILER. I used these on a Tow-Dolly to allow the installation of wider off-road tires so I could recover a dune buggy from the sand and pull it home. In hindsight I would have chosen a wider version to allow me to tow even wider vehicles than I can now. But that is purely in hindsight, and I am very happy with these spacers.
