    This checker just saved me $500, it’s got easy peasy directions, I don’t need to pump my septic tank, it’s been 5 years since was last pumped. I have a 2 chamber septic tank, chamber 1 had 3” of scum, 36” of affluent, 6” of sludge, chamber 2 had 1/2” scum, 46” affluent, 1 1/2” of sludge, looks like I’m good for a few more years. This item is must have if you have a septic system, check before you have it pumped.

    Have not tried to use it yet but I assembled and was pleased with the quality of build, It is a simple device anyone can learn to use in 15 minutes. If you buy it check out how to use it on youtube, the instructions are not as good as could be. only confusion was lowering the tube in the septic tank with the end plug not in the tube after reaching bottom make sure to lift so there is room for the cord and plug to seal the end trapping the column of sediment on bottom and sludge in the top.
