I have bought a number of others of these and wanted to buy some more. I definitely wanted a black pair and assumed these would be the same as all the other pairs I ordered. However, I didn't realise that this pair has a hard leather sole with a very small heel and they are less comfortable and very slippy to wear in the house. So I'm a little disappointed but I'm not sure if it wasn't made clear enough, or if I wasn't paying enough attention...? Will still buy again from this seller

Very nice handmade Babouches, good leather, price OK. Delivery one week before term. Suggestion: should you maintain contact to the manufacturer, you could ask him to make some with a sewn and foldable, stabilized heel cap and a thin glued rubber sole - just for middle European customers who would also like to wear them on the streets in a hot but rainy summer. I'm sure you could ask ten to twelve BP more for such modified babouches (I'll have mine treated that way). Greetings from Heidelberg, D
