It was a bear to install, but I was able to get everything connected. Just take your time and make sure to keep vaseline nearby. I would not have been able to install without the lubricant. Not sure how the rubber on this will hold up, but given the price point and the fact that the original hardened and cracked, it should hold up for as long as I will have my vehicle. Be careful with the spring clamp. It has to be unhooked. Pull it together. If you pry it too hard you'll bend it and your done
