    I had never encountered a single-sheet version of these normally two separate sheets, so I bought it.After receipt I examined it carefully and found that the single-sheet appearance had been achieved by careful trim, overlap and pasting, further enhanced by a binding-strip glued to the fold, which would allow its incorporation into an atlas. Was this done by a publisher or a later owner --there's no way of knowing, but it makes an interesting addition to my collection.

    Interesting. Some of Weller's maps for the Weekly Dispatch were made to be assembled after trimming - liked his 4-sheet England & Wales.
