This postcard is so precious to me. My Grandfather started working as a deckhand on the Lucy Ashton while living in the village depicted on this. He went on to pilot it and all the other Clyde steamers. Who knows? He may be aboard the steamer in this picture. I love it! It arrived promptly and safely too.
