    This mod is well done and works as expected. It was installed with care and the port looks stock which is great. The iPod charges and syncs without issues (though worth remembering this won’t magically make it sync faster, it’s still a 200s era USB controller on the mainboard). The mod is a little pricy but given how fiddly the work is I am happy to pay to have it done. Overall it is exactly the update the iPod needed for 2025.
