Hi, I'm sorry you feel that way. The photos depict blue cover books. Vintage has many interpretations but generally speaking if the item is no older than an antique but not less than 20 years, it falls under the term vintage. Antiques are items aged more than 100 years. Some antique dealers will interpret vintage as an item over 40 years. This set is not the newer version and they are considered vintage. You are welcome to return the books and I will issue you a full refund.
