I was a bit disappointed the lions head was a bit crudely shaped around the forehead - like somebody had gone mad with the grinder when it was being fettled. Aside from that, it seems to be a good, sturdy walking stick. Screws together securely. The brass ring at the top of the cane wasn't secured to the stick but once the lion head is screwed on top, it holds it in place.
