Dear seller,I'm not sure if you have read the description. It was described as shop ex display model in as new cosmetic condition, sold with 12 months seller's warranty and supplied with replacement remote control. It was'n brand new as sony doesnt manufacture any models of dvd recorder since 2020.Kind Regards
