The generator that I purchased only puts out 24vdc when I in fact ordered the 48 volt generator. The sticker on the tail does say 48 volt, but my multi meter does NOT lie! ALSO with such a small charge controller, I'm skeptical the generator ACTUALLY produces 3000 watts. Ohms law says power = volts x amps, so 3000 watts divided by 48 volts equals 62.5 amps, and there is NO WAY that little charge controller will safely handle that kind of amperage.
